CHAMBERSBURG—Maybe you flip through pages of a home magazine or social media channel and see images that inspire you, or perhaps you watch HGTV and want to duplicate the looks in your own home.

But do you know where to find those items that complete the look?

You could go to a trendy boutique and pay top dollar. Or you could shop at auction and get the look for less!

Here’s an idea from items in our upcoming April 18 auction:

An adorable washstand … it would look great in a guest room or foyer. But how can you style it?

Style A: Choose items of similar tones, but different textures–a stoneware jug, stack of old books and a basket. This would be great for a guest room or upstairs hallway, as it allows room for other items:

Style B: This modified version adds additional texture with the wicker bottle and iron key, a paperweight for items (mail?) and a pretty handkerchief to add color. Could work for a bedroom or foyer drop zone.

You can find photos of all items online or take a preview walk-thru beginning at 8 a.m. that morning (our usual Sunday preview is CANCELLED due to Easter).
